The Resource Efficiency Network is a Knowledge Transfer Network, a service to UK industry and commerce provided through the DTI Technology Programme. The Network aims to improve use of materials and energy, encourage the use of industrial wastes as a source of chemicals, fuels and other valuable materials and promote recovery and processing of waste from one site, for use as a resource elsewhere.
As part of the free membership, members have access to a wide range of services on the web portal. Although primarily aimed at waste and recycling, opportunities for renewables firms also exist, such as this post on the forums:
