The Green Energy Cluster was established by the Environmental Goods and Services Innovation Programme under the former Welsh Development Agency. The Programme and Cluster now resides with the Welsh Assembly Government.

Funding for the Programme derives from Objective One funding from the EU's Regional Deveoment Fund, and the narrow focus of the Cluster is to promote the development of the microgeneration industry in Objective One Wales. However the interests of companies within this area are greatly enhanced by contributions and the ability to draw upon the wider industry, and membership of the Cluster is open to all (although any direct financial support is limited to the "core" Objective One companies).

Members receive regular newsetters with news and updates, and a regular programme of varied events are held throughout Wales during the year. To sign up to receive newsletters (typically less than 10 emails per year) and to receive invites to open events, contact us at:
