Wind Resource Assessment and Data Analysis - Dulas have considerable experience in siting, obtaining planning approvals, installing wind monitoring masts, and collecting and analysing the data. The ReSolutions team also have access to the NOABL database, which allows a preliminary wind resource assessment.
Site Identification for Wind Farms - Using GIS mapping techniques, the ReSolutions team can identify areas that are not constrained for planning, environmental and technical reasons, thus enabling a project to have a greater chance of success.
Feasibility Studies for Wind Projects - Before investing a substantial amount of money in a wind project it is recommended that a thorough feasiblity study should be conducted to identify any planning, environmental and technical reasons why the project should not progress.
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) - The ReSolutions team has managed over 40 full Environmental Impact Assessments for proposedwind farms in the UK, and produced the Environmental Statements to accompany the planning applications. This experience has proved invaluable to wind energy developers requiring advice and recommendations on environmental best practice and project development.
Planning Advice for Wind Energy Projects - Dulas have in-house skills for preliminary planning appraisals of wind energy projects, and can guide the client through the planning application procedure.
Community Consultations for Wind Projects - It is important for a developer to provide the local community with clear correct information regarding the project. Dulas has experience advising and managing community consultations.
Policy Formulation and Guidance - There are numerous international, national and local policies and regulations that affect the viability of wind power development and operation. The Dulas team have provided guidance to Governments and Councils formulating wind policies, and are also able to advise developers on policies that affect their individual project.
Community Scale Wind Projects - The ReSolutions team have been involved with numerous community wind projects, and can provide consultancy, design and installation services. Dulas were instrumental in setting up the REIC financing initiative for community groups.
